Badminton at the Oakville Club is synonymous with tradition. Four magnificent courts occupy what once served as an airplane hangar during World War I. Now, feathered birds fly through the air controlled by strings in the orchestrated movement of doubles and singles.
Programs for every age and ability have been expertly designed by the Badminton Professional. This year-round sport is rich with organized leagues, round robins, socials and reciprocals. Juniors of all ages engage in superior instruction and fun play through a host of teams and tournaments. Group and private lessons are always available to develop shots and strategy. Entertain your competitive side by participating in the club championships. Join other members to celebrate the season at the popular annual badminton/squash bash.

Message from Stu Arthur, Badminton Professional
We have a program for every age and ability on the Badminton courts. Come down and try one of the fastest sports and the second most played sport in the entire world! We have great league nights every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and specialty nights on Friday nights - there is always something going on down at the courts. Our Club Professional Stu Arthur runs a competitive, intermediate and beginner junior program for ages 4-18 every evening on the Badminton courts. Stu has been the Club Professional for 4 seasons and brings his expertise from being a director of the Canadian Badminton coaches association and a former member of Canada's National Badminton Team. Badminton is a fun, fast paced sport that is a great work-out and, most of all, a great time!
See you on the courts!
