PRIVATE LESSONS

All levels welcome! Come work on your game with Stu, learn new shots and overcome old habits. Lessons can be arranged by phone or e-mail.

1 hour Private: $60
1 hour Semi-Private: $70 (2-4 players)

ADULT PROGRAMS

CALLING ALL NEW MEMBERS FOR BADMINTON!

Come down to the Club for an evening of fun play, meet the Pro and a social. RSVP to the Activities Desk, ext. 0.

(NEW) ADULT LEARN ALL CLINICS
Time: Wednesdays, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Fall: October 21 - December 9
Cost: $200
This program is great for all league players that want to improve their Doubles game. We will go over all shots, strategies, positioning and all other aspects of doubles.
Minimum of 8 participants is required.

(NEW) ADULT BEGINNER CLINICS
Time: Mondays, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Fall: October 19 - December 7
Cost: $200
Perfect for adults that are new to Badminton. Learn the basics of Badminton, including shots, rules, and strategy. Special beginner drills will be practiced for a great work out!
Minimum of 8 participants is required.

LADIES HIT AND RUN LESSONS
Time: Tuesdays, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Date: October 20 - December 8
Cost: $200
All levels welcome! This is a great way to learn new shots and practice doubles strategy. Intermediate and advanced techniques will be taught and practiced. Min. of 4 participants is required.

LEAGUES
Sign-Up Sheets will be posted on September 8 across from the River Bar.

MONDAY NIGHT ADULT MIXED
Time: Mondays, 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Fall: Starting Monday, October 5
Cost: $15
Aims for Mixed doubles matches with a competitive flavor and a social connection. Recommended for A, B, and C level players. For more information contact Nancy Beggs/Mickie Angas.

FRIENDLY DROP IN ADULT MIXED
Time: Tuesdays, 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Fall: October 6 - December 15
Drop-In Fee: $3
Round robin play in a social setting designed to encourage “new players” and veteran members to meet new people and enjoy a fun night. For C and D level players. For more information contact Dan and Jill Murphy.

WEDNESDAY LADIES MORNING “DROP IN”
Time: Wednesdays, 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Fall: October 7 - December 9
Drop-In Fee: $3
A social setting, with doubles play based on ability, in a round robin format. Come out and get a great workout. For more information contact Stu Arthur.

THURSDAY ADULT COMPETITIVE
Time: Thursdays, 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Fall: Starting Thursday, October 22
Cost: $40 includes Prizes
An opportunity for highly competitive team play. Captains and teams of six are chosen to compete on a regular basis, Thursday evenings. There is a very active sub list if you wish to play but cannot attend regularly. For experienced A and B level players, Men and Women. For more information contact

FRIENDLY FRIDAY DROP-IN
Time: Fridays, 7:00 pm
Drop-In Fee: $3
Fun for all levels. A great way to meet new and fellow Members for a friendly game of Badminton.  The Junior Room will remain open until 8:00 pm.

ADULT ROUND ROBIN & SOCIAL

All levels welcome! Join us for Badminton fun and excitement. Our Round Robins are always very popular so watch for the sign up sheet in Peacock Alley, and sign up early. For more information please contact Ann Last.

BATTLE OF THE PADDLE

Round of Squash, Badminton & Ping Pong –
A fun challenge for everyone at all levels.
Winner of each round moves to the next level.

BEAT THE BIRD EVENT!
Date: Wednesday, October 14,
Time: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Cost: $10 per person to enter
How many times can you hit the bird from the bird machine! The more you hit the faster it goes. Who will be the Bird Champion of the year! Open to all ages and levels.
