Four international squash courts provide an arena for opponents to measure their skills in triumph or defeat in the din of echoing tin. From leagues, ladders, and round robins to tournaments, there are tiers for beginners to masters. Come out to “Play the Pro” night or witness an exhibition match between world class players.

The Club Professional creates programs to engage the imagination of the juniors, reveal their talents, and develop their skills. Adults can learn new strategies through private instruction and mixed instructional round robins.

Join the Toronto and District League or add your name to the Gossling Ladder. Prepare for the Club Championships and test your skill and endurance.

Celebrate the season at the popular annual badminton/squash bash.

The Oakville Club has four fantastic international Squash courts. Members enjoy participating in the very active leagues expertly run by Mike Way the Club's Squash Professional.

Message from Mike Way, Head Squash Professional

We have a broad program to encourage everyone who plays or is interested in getting started.

The backbone of the Squash section is the house leagues. Monday night for novice to intermediate and Thursday night intermediate - advanced. Over 100 players participate in these leagues alone.

We have two teams in the Toronto league and a ladder for everyone from novice to our top players in the Club to determine bragging rights!

Club Championships are held February through April in twelve different categories.

Our Squash Committee is a dedicated group and we try and to run a special event every month or two. This may be an exhibition match with Canada's top players, a handicap tournament or any feeble excuse for a social gathering!

There is instruction for all players:

Junior:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday
  • Junior clinics are held on the summer, Christmas holiday and March Break holiday.

Ladies Clinics:

  • Wednesday morning

Adult Clinics:

  • For beginners and intermediates on Wednesday evenings

Rules and tactics clinics are run periodically.

Private and semi private lessons are available on request

Free instruction is available for any first-timer on the court and all new members.

New players also have an assessment with the Professional or a Squash Committee member to determine their level within the Club.
